🔍 Observations

PengyR is the largest at ~13.2k lines — it's a hybrid: a Rust core library + a separate C++/Qt GUI front-end, so you're paying for two languages and an FFI boundary (pengy_ffi.h). The Rust tools.rs alone is 2,723 lines.
Pengy (Python) and PengyCPP are neck-and-neck (~10.8k vs ~10.4k). Despite C++ being more verbose, the C++ version consolidates core+UI into one language with no FFI overhead, which roughly cancels out Python's terseness.
