Music Skill — How to Use It

The music skill lets you generate full songs (with vocals) using ACE-Step 1.5 models, all self-contained in ~/Personal/skills/music/. Here's how it works:

The Workflow

We'll collaborate in 6 steps:

You tell me what you want — genre, mood, vocal style, topic, tempo, etc.
I write the lyrics — with proper section tags like [Verse], [Chorus], [Bridge], etc.
I craft a style string — specific and descriptive (e.g., "Synthwave, driving bass, male vocals, 80s retro")
I pick BPM and duration appropriate to the genre
I run the script — python generate_music.py --style "..." --lyrics "..." [options]
I give you the output path — an .mp3, .wav, or .flac file in ~/Music/

What You Can Specify

Requirements

~8 GB VRAM on the GPU (models are quantized; falls back gracefully)
Dependencies already vendored in ~/Personal/skills/music/acestep/
Takes 2–5 minutes per track depending on duration/batch count
